It's not possible through the coop but you could ask Kara about a custom order. You could also have a hat made out of the extra 2oz or even possibly sell it. |

The thickness of the yarn. Kara is getting me more details like yardage for these specific yarns but I can give you the general differences. Aran is lightweight than Bulky and you will receive more yardage per ounce of aran the bulky. Cestari is a good example of an Aran weight yarn. HTH! |

is there a place where she lists the original names of the yarn bases? i'm trying to find mountain meadow or gaia bulky (sp?) but i don't know enough about them to tell which it is _________________ ~kara |

Not that I'm aware of. I can email Kara for you though. I'm not sure she offers Mountain Meadow, but Gaia bulky (or something so close I can't tell the difference) is Far Out Organic Merino. |
