DiscoBaby Knits Co-op Guidelines

Minimums: There is a mimum total order of 50 skeins. Trim skeins do not count towards the minimum. The minimum order per colorway is 6 skeins.
Maximums: The maximum number of skeins allowed is 200. Trim skeins do not count toward the maximum.
Timeframes: The approximate timeframe for dyeing is 2 weeks per 50 skeins. While I do try to come in ahead of schedule, it is possible that there may be delays. If this happens, I will communicate with the co-op host the length of and reason for the delay.
Yarn Availablity: Not all yarns will be available at all times, and some may be limited in quantity. I will do my best to make sure availability is communicated prior to an order being placed. In the event that I am not aware of an availability issue until after the order is placed. I will work with the co-op host on resolution.
Payment: Payment for yarn will be due at the time the order is placed. Payment for shipping will be due before the yarn ships. All shipments require insurance.

Trim Skeins: Trim skeins are available. Trim skeins equal ½ the weight of the regular skeins for each yarn type. So for yarn types that come in 4 oz skeins, trim skeins will be 2 oz, and for yarn types that come in 3.5 oz skeins, trim skeins will be 1.75 oz. These are available in solid colors only.
Exchanges/Returns: No returns are allowed. Exchanges are allowed only in the event of an error on my part, such as an incorrect yarn base being dyed.
A Note About Hand Dyed Yarn: As a dyer, I strive for consistency in my colorways, however due to the nature of hand painting there may be variations from the photos. Kettle dyeing creates even more variation. While I will use the identical colors and processes, the actual results may look extremely different from the gallery photos for kettle dyed colorways. These differences between dye-lots is expected, and is not considered a defect, therefore there are no exchanges or returns allowed for these variations.
